Frequently Asked Questions

Since product is still in Beta, every account gets 3 API runs in total. However validate action can be utilized any number of times.

1. Use default template or upload an OpenAPI yaml to get started. Now you can even start with a Postman collection

2. Validate the spec and fix validation errors such that status goes to RUN_API

3. Once status changes, hit Run link on the left side navigation bar.

4. Under the Run tab, hit Run API button to select API endpoint and run 

5. If status goes to COMPLETED, you can check schema validation results

Current version works well with:

• application/json
• multipart/form-data

Other MIME-Types aren't supported yet.

Currently only YAML is supported

Not all validation issues have samples. We are in the process of adding them. Until then, please google reported issues to get samples

Currently, following constraints are used for payload generation as part of running tests:

1. minLength

2. maxLength

3. regex pattern

More will be added soon!

Ensure that you get these added for your API inputs in the Validate section

Also note that the following sections are not yet utilized for payload generation:

1. Authorization

2. Query params under Api operations

•  ApiHome app is under beta testing. And there is only one usage plan currently called Free Trial.  As part of this trial, user is allowed a maximum of 3 API Runs.
• Cymitra reserves the right to terminate the Free Trial without prior notice. User data will be purged upon termination.
• In order to fix bugs or add new features, ApiHome app can go under maintenance unannounced. Inconvenience caused is regretted.
